I'm New

Welcome

Spirit and Truth Foursquare Church is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

What To Expect

A typical service will last around 60-75 minutes. When you walk in you will see a sanctuary with tables set up instead of rows of seats. The service is split up into a few sections.

Worship

We start service with worship! We tend to do contemporary worship but we also throw in songs from the 90's on and will do a hymn every now and then. We have multiple worship team members. We may have a single leader with a guitar one Sunday and two guitars, a piano, two backup singers, a cajon and even an upright bass the next.

We always invite the congregation to stand and join us in worship, but feel free to sit, stand, or kneel whatever allows you to worship our God. Our congregation as a whole sings, raises their hands, and even sometimes shouts out praises in the midst of worship. You should feel free to worship at your comfort level.

Communion

After worship we partake in communion. We believe that communion is a symbol that we participate in to remember what Jesus did for us. However, symbol does not mean void of a spiritual reality, in fact we believe that there is power in communion and that Jesus is doing something with his church as we participate in it. As such we ask that if you are not a Christian or if you are living in unrepentant sin that you refrain from partaking, however we do not monitor this and it is between you and the Lord.

Announcements &
Gifts/Offerings

Next, we do announcements either by video or live. Also, all of our events can be found on our event calendar.

Then we pray over our gifts & offerings, as a guest there is no expectation of you during this time, in fact most people give online so not many people put money in the baskets that are passed.

We do have tin cans that go around as well and those are for spare change that go to benevolence (if someone comes to the church with needs or other ministries we don't have commitments to).

Sermon

We have a team of rotating preachers. Our sermons will sometimes have an interactive component at the tables, but not always.

Breakfast Bar

Between services starting at 11:15am we have a small breakfast bar. Coffee and pre-packaged snacks are always available at the breakfast bar.

Kids

Our children's ministry only runs during second service. Check-in happens at an iPad at the end of the entrance hall and kids can go to their classes 15 minutes before service starts. All of our volunteers are background checked regularly and have gone through our denominations Child and Youth Protection training. Snacks are provided so please let a teacher know of any allergies. Classes may go outside to our gated playground area if weather permits.
